...currently, there are a 8 states (to include PA), that are in the early investigative phases regarding Catholic Diocese child sex abuse. Here's where we are currently;


1. Various states are already launching individual probes following the Pennsylvania grand jury report.
2. Senior Church leadership are deflecting, accusing, and redirecting, then publicly falling silent.
3. Once a sufficient number of states have done so - a joint effort would begin.
4. The joint effort would then involve the US Justice Department.
5. That federal involvement could result in something like a RICO investigation.
6. The Vatican is MOST fearful of US Federal government involvement; given Trumps recent EO regarding human rights abuses/asset seizure.
7. Wuerl, Cupich, and perhaps others, are laying escape plans for an if/when scenario.

...in addition, there is now an ongoing Vatican-orchestrated campaign to smear and silence Vigano, as being unreliable; not to be trusted or believed. Don't forget Vigano was instrumental in exposing the Vatican Bank scandal, which also led to the exposure of Vatican(Rome), in-house sex scandals...."drug-fueled sex orgies", if I recall the original verbiage. Yeah, he knows where the bodies are buried.

...Update: We are waiting for state #8 (Florida) to formally announce shortly. Numbers will probably rise as more credibility is lost by the Church.

Having lost most of Europe and on the verge of losing the Anglophonic countries, it may not be too much of a stretch to say that the Catholic Church will soon be a developing-world phenomenon--much like the Mormon Church and for many of the same reasons.

Tyrannical, abusive organizations thrive in places characterized by poverty, misogyny, poor education, and minimal access to the free flow of information. Ireland is a harbinger.

He's been in the job five years and has announced several reform initiatives, conspicuously absent from which has been anything to stop the sexual abuse of children and the coverups.

He has shown his priorities.

...most folks don't appreciate the scope and reach of the Vatican's Security apparatus; which has been compared to Mossad or MI6 in it's world-wide asset placement. When you also throw in Cardinals, Bishops, Priest, Rectors...those operating Church-owned LLC's, Sole Corporations, etc.; meaning those charged with reporting upstream, it is massive. As in LDS world, upper-level officials all hold special clearances for access to otherwise classified Church records; member data, financial, and internal memos dealing with criminal and potential criminal conduct by members, to include the upper-echelon gate-keepers. Think "Blackmail."

So when the Vatican orders up it's "goon squad" to go after you, you better watch your back...

This article mentions an RCC sexual-abuse case circa 1997 - 3 years or so before the Boston revelations. The case may not have had national exposure - or perhaps I simply wasn't listening:

Even the Boston revelations were slow to develop national impact, because, I think, no one except the victims and their immediate families could conceive of RCC priests indulging in the bestial behaviors they did, in fact, commit.
