--------------- NOTE

Admin note: This is a typical crazy post from this individual. anonthegreat - please post elsewhere. You are not helping folks with recovery from Mormonism with this non-sense.

--------------end of NOTE -----------

The compounded population growth rates and the many races on earth is proof that life came from other planets, assuming the growth rate is between 0.5% and 1%:

2,4,8,16,32.64.128,256.512,1024..7 billion...4 square feet of living space in 5,000 years.

The population control methods in place on earth today force the growth rate to be at 1%. Without the control in China, for example, the population would grow faster by nature.

This has nothing to do with the flood of Noah. This is about evolution. With all the many races on earth, the human life evolved over billions of years. Based on the math, the population would need to be destroyed every 4 to 5 thousand years or be controlled by advanced civilization.

This math proof has to do with religion and recovering Mormons because it explains where the many races came from vs the Bible vs evolution.

You're not interested in hearing about the logistics of population growth are you?

This is deranged, but it is intentionally deranged.

I think it is sort of an anthropocentric attitude that causes individuals to believe that the laws of nature don't apply to humans. It isn't deranged, it's ignorant.

A persistent belief, irrespective of evidence and impervious to others' arguments, gets us pretty close to deranged. This poster seriously asks, time and again, whether people here understand compound growth. He likewise refuses to look at evidence.

I'd propose it is more egocentric than anthropocentric, too. There is scant regard here for any other human's research or thoughts.

First, that's a false assumption:

"Population in the world is currently (2018) growing at a rate of around 1.09% per year (down from 1.12% in 2017 and 1.14% in 2016)."

http://www.worldometers.info/world-population/

So the growth rate is NOT between 0.5% and 1%.

Second, no growth rate, no matter how high or how low, is proof that life came from other planets. Those two things are completely unrelated. There have been times on earth when the growth rate was over 10%. There have been times when it was negative. None of those facts have anything to do with life coming from other planets.

To assume the current growth rate will continue as it is for another 5,000 years is rather silly. Especially given its extreme variation in the past, and that fact that it's been falling steadily (even in the majority of the world where there are no "controls) for the past 100 years or so.
Another false assumption.

You're not very good at this, are you?

I'm not sure why we are even engaging this person. He refuses to look at the actual human population and growth rates over time. I'm not sure how a dialogue can proceed when he arbitrarily refuses to look at the mountains of evidence (none with straight lines) that already exist.

Carry on.

If we grow food organically on all arable land in the world, the population that can support is 4 billion. Clearly we don't now and never have grown food that way. But there are no shortages of controls in nature on population.
