whenever they were preaching something 180 degrees opposite of what past Mormon prophets had preached.

It's like Nelson doesn't give a fork. It's like he really believes that the past prophettes were all hayseeds, inbreds and sub-par intellects. He's smarter than all of them, including the coke-swigging guy who immediately preceded him.

They preached: "Be proud of being a Mormon."

Nelson preaches: "Forget those fools. They didn't have a clue."

Spot on.

Remember all those conference talks from Nelson trying to explain Hebrew or ancient language texts? How he tried to position himself as an "intellectual" with an apostolic-smarter-than-thou declarative exclamation point?

I'd sure like someone to find a video or sermon by Nelson where he was proud to call himself "A Mormon."

He didn't say Mormon.

He said Marmun.

"The Marmon truck was a low-production, handmade truck sometimes dubbed the Rolls-Royce of trucks.[citation needed] An overcrowded American truck industry and the lack of a nationwide sales network led to the eventual failure of Marmon trucks in the USA. The last Marmon was made in 1997, and the production facilities in Garland, Texas, were taken over by Navistar’s Paystar division."
