I am sick and tired of Tippy Toe-ing around what offends members of the Cult.

This new non Mormon thing has made every member a martyr and it now gives them the opportunity of righteous offence.

It was this I was talking about to a good LDS friend who jokingly said that calling him Mormon now offends and that I should call him along the party lines.

I then said calling him a member of the church of Jesus Christ is totally offensive to me because Jesus has nothing to do with his church. As is latter day saint because non of you are saints.

We laughed and then I realised that WE, all of us should be offended!

I decided that the next time a member says that they are offended by the word Mormon that I will reply politely that I am totally offended by them calling themselves by a church with Jesus's name in it, so don't do it in front of me.

I'll say you calling it Your Church is totally acceptable.

Also don't call me;

Ex Mormon, apostate, inactive, excommunicated, prior member or anything at all connected to YOUR church because it drags up terrible heart breaking memories. -Yawn-

And if they don't like me drinking a beer or evil coffee in front of them I am deeply offended by them drinking milk or orange juice because of the suffering of the cows teats and the damage to the trees :)

So fellow CAMPERS time we all get good and bloody offended.

Ha, my point is that they can get offended by a revelation out of a Crackerjack Box so why cant we be offended by anything we like.

Yes LDS is also offensive now even forbidden to use by the Brighamites.

We can suffer lingering effects as a result of our time in a cult without necessarily being offended.

Yup, and all this useless offending is being called out while the "only true prophet" on the earth today exists in a world full of hunger war, climate change problems etc etc.

I'm on board.

Mormons label us whatever they choose or throw-out whatever derogatory words to us they care to.

I was invited to a missionary home gathering and was rudely cut-off with words of "Oh, I know," when I provided the reason I would not be there; yet it was quite alright that they bothered me with yet another MormonCult invitation even though I have made it very clear in the past that I choose not to participate.

But, they are doing the Lord's work while we, the lazy, heathen exmormons, need to be gathered and shown the way to repentance by them, the chosen ones. They know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are right and we are wrong.

It is all as silly as their dead dunking and their goofy temple ceremony. Would a god really give the policy of trying to dunk as many dead people as possible? Seriously?

I'll still be polite but certainly will no longer just smile and take it anymore.

as supposed moral and spiritual superiors, MORmONS have exclusively reserved the option of being offended for themselves.

Thanks and I believe it's true. And I hate to say it but Rusty did have a good idea by diverting members attention away from real issues to some imagined personal attack by non believers.
