I came across these videos and was instantly taken back to living in Utah. These girls (assuming ex-Mormons) do an incredible job depicting the stereotypical Mormon (ooops, I mean Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint) woman. The accents and cultural trite cliche’s are spot on! They sound just like the women in conference. Haha

That was unbearable. It was as if I was listening to Mike Leavitt's wife once again.
My ears are still hurting.

GAK!!! The sing-songy voices, the vapid expressions, the usage of words without really saying anything - painful. There was some of that in my most recent ward, but there were some relatively normal people, too.

I agree, not every Mormon fits this stereotype.

Haha!!! I forgot about her. I remember she was used to be on local UT commercials and I’d always laugh and impersonate her accent even though it really bothered me. Haha

Yes, it really is.

Oak's 2nd wife is a twin of my super MORmON aunt Julie.

Loved this. Knew one just like that haircut and all. Wait. What am I saying? Just one?

She did make beautiful quilts though and green jello to die for--cottage cheese and pineapple. Mmmmm.

“What am I saying? Just one?” Haha

Cottage cheese & pineapple jello? Wow, that’s one I never got to try. My Mom would do orange jello with shredded carrots and raspberry jello with a can of fruit cocktail. Tasted good!

I’m sure we could all talk about the uniquely delicious (and odd) casseroles and jellos we grew up with. IMO Mormon comfort food isn’t all that bad. :)

I think it was pineapple chunks, cottage cheese, and walnuts stirrED in while the green Jello was still syrupy--half set. Try it. It's actually good unless I'm just using it as nostalgia.

Lots of whipped cream though. None of that fake stuff. OK?

I imagine Raymond, Magrath, Cardston and the rest of the S. Alberta Moridor is full of women like that.

Yeah you’d think, right? But with maybe a slight Canadian accent mixed in. The culture runs deep, regardless of location.

I watched it again. Man that dip-thong thing she's got going on is virtuoso but can get really grating really fast. Brilliant performance. Should be nominated for an Oscar in the Shorts category, haha.

I like to do impersonations of Thomas Monson and Dallin Oaks sining children's songs. Monson "singing" Ernie's "Rubber Ducky" from Sesame Street is choice.
