I've noticed a distinct pattern in the history of Mormon prophets.

It looks like some back-room committee that actually runs things agrees to let each Mormon prophet release two albums.

The first one is always named "[insert name of prophet guy] Unleashed!"

The second album is always named "[insert name of prophet guy] Unplugged!"

First there was "Joseph Smith Unleashed!"
Then there was "Joseph Smith Unplugged!"

That was followed by "Brigham Young Unleashed!"
That was followed many years later by "Brigham Young Unplugged!"

Most recently, we've seen the "Monson Unplugged!" album being quickly followed by the "Nelson Unleashed!" album.

There have been some anomalies, however. For example, following the "Kimball Unplugged!" album, we expected to see that being immediately followed by the "Benson Unleashed!" album.

But there was no "Benson Unleashed!" album.

Instead, there was a "Benson Almost Unplugged!" album followed by the "Benson Completely Unplugged!" album.
