Great point as I think this could be one of the major uses of the so-called "nickname of the church" that Uptight Nelson wants to run away from.
What a success the musical has been for its writers', nailing the heart of Mormonism with its clever, hilarious songs, story, and fantastic lines.
Would Nelson dared to have bought a ticket? (maybe with Wendy's persuasion). Could they have watched and laughed sitting in disguise on the first row? I seriously doubt it, yet it is fun to envision such a theater night out for these two laughing up a storm. And......
.....maybe Wendy could be heard to whisper to her hubby, "I NEVER knew Mormonism could be so fun. I'll schedule us to come again next week!"
What the so-called MORmON PRofit calls a "Victory For Satan" is really a victory for free speech, because if the creators staged a production of "The Koran" on Broadway we all know what would happen, fire bombing, murder and terrorist attacks would happen accross thr Mid East. Question is, why are Mormons so timid in response to a blasphemous parody of their absurd Doomsday CULT snd its most sacred text?
