I was looking for some specific posts and threads that predate the past few weeks and I noticed they were not available.

Is this permanent or temporary? If it’s permanent, I’m bummed. When I’m bored sometimes I go back and reread interesting threads.

I know some older stuff is officially archived but I’m talking the more recent past. It seems nothing older than about a month can be accessed.

Did you change the "time period" parameter at the bottom?

The default search is only 90 days. You can change that to longer time periods.

Ok so that was part of the problem. I’m an idiot.

Still, whenever I hit ‘last’ to search through threads it doesn’t seem to work.

Still might be something I’m doing wrong. If it is this can be disregarded.

I typed 'last' too the other day.
It only refreshed the "first" page.

If you're on a small screen device, you may not be seeing the "SEARCH" button at the top, far right. It's next to "All Words".

I think this has something to do with it because i can’t use the ‘last button’ to go to the actual ‘last’ page. A minor quibble compared to me thinking the search functioning wasn’t working :o

I just tried and the search function works fine. It turns out that elderolddog has 16,003 posts in the repository.

On second thought, perhaps the search function works too well.
