Tonight Leah Remini is covering the Jehovah Witnesses. Many people wrote in to expose the cult. I wonder if they will ever do the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

I think they would do FLDS first. There they literally kicked young men out and threatened physical violence. In traditional LDS they just send you on a mission, get married super fast, so you have tear apart your life to leave, so many stay. In FLDS they are more up front with the threats and coercion, based on what I know about the "sons of perdition" documentary.

To attack the FLDS or other mormon offshoot would be like beating a dead horse. Those organizations are small, and everyone already knows that they are cults. A&E needs to expose the dark side of mainstream Mormonism. There is enough darkness, conspiracy, and abuse there if they'll expose it. Some of us here on this board are jaded, and think that what the mormon church does and has done is not such of a big deal compared to scientology. A lot of it is a big deal. People would be shocked to see it if it showed up on their TV. In some cases, it would be the straw that broke the camel's back to see some of these things in the mormon church and culture exposed publicly. Imagine putting a picture of Brigham Young up on TV, with some of his racist statements, followed by a video of Nelson telling the wretchedly poor in Africa that the only way out of their poverty is to pay tithing to the Mormon church. A lot of people would leave the church out of shame for even being associated with it.
