The Priest Quorum teacher dodging arrest warrants

Has been a long time now but when I was in Priest Quorum in the Monroe, Utah stake our Priest Quorum teacher was actively dodging arrest warrants from Arizona. He was home at his folks place and it became common knowledge as a few times the police showed up in the town of about 200 with out of State warrants for bad checks and a few other things.

He was a real huckster - a regular Paul Dunn story type in so many ways.

Always wondered how they kept calling him to work with the Youth knowing he was like that.

It will all be taken care of in the afterlife;

probably a case of mistaken identity or a clerical error.

Joseph Smith had arrest warrants too and was always running from persecution, er, the law. So why not give him a calling?
