I don't get what people like about this guy. My SIL likes him, told my wife and I we need to watch his special on Netflix. He starts up with a joke about....rape. We watched about 5 or 10 minutes more and turned it off. He wasn't funny, rape isn't funny. I don't get it.

1. He isn't afraid to make jokes about taboo subjects.

2. His jokes are original.

3. He makes valid observations about everyday life.

4. When I listen to his stand up, I laugh very hard. Laughing hard feels great. Therefore, his stand up makes me feel great.

Friends of mine wanted me to watch "The Wolf of Wall street." I tried but at one point I left the room.

I didn't ask a question, I made a statement....I don't get it.

But, since you replied.....If you find him funny, entertaining, that's fine. I'm not concerned with what you think. My concern is what I think, and I don't think he's funny and I don't get why others do. I get that they do, I just can't relate to why. Also, If I did think he was funny, I think I would have to ask myself why, given his topics of choice.
