Our guest speaker for February will be Jeremy Runnells, author of the CES Letter. Following Jeremy’s presentation, titled “The Examined Life, Restoring Your Own Power and Liberty” we will hold a 30-45 minute Q&A with Jeremy. In addition we will blow out 100 copies of the CES Letter for five dollars each. We acknowledge that the CES Letter is a free download on the internet, but this is your chance to own the physical book for a fraction of the cost. Jeremy has offered to stay around and autograph each book purchased. You will not want to miss this!

Because of the crowd expected we are moving to the Abby Inn (St. George UT.), just down the street at 1129 South Bluff--in the South Tower (don't go in the main door to the Abby reception desk). Join us on Sunday, February 10th at 2 PM for a rousing discussion.

Wish I was there.

Who is JR? lol

I wish I didn't even know who Jeremy Runnells is but I admire and respect him just the same.

I printed out the 84 pages a while back.

Hail JR

"The Demand for Blind Faith stunts Curiosity."

Fantastic Lecture, had over 150 people present. Sold his CES Letter for $5.00 paper back bound. What fire power!

Jeremy's theme, "The Demand for Blind Faith stunts Curiosity" reminds me of a brilliant quote by one of our rfm'rs who use to participate in the discussions here.

I tucked it away in my "quotes" file so I can occasionally share the truth and wisdom contained there-in with others. It says basically the same thing in a different way.

"I have formed the opinion over the years this notion that false certainty is at the root of much human suffering and huge mistakes. Feelings of certainty on a subject stops people from learning more, questioning assumptions, and leads to simple-mindedness." Thinking on RFM
