I wish The Christologists would just adopt the name Christology. Like Scientologists hijack a word for their misinformation Mormonism should just do the same.

I once read that of a bunch of churches with websites lds.org had the most images of Jesus on its website.

It out-Jesus's even the most Jesus churches. And like Scientology the "Science" part is partly true but not enough to justify much of anything. Christology is perfect. They love mentioning Christ but don't really have much in the way of Jesus motivating Mormonism. It is all prophets every day. Jesus could just as easily have been one of the Bible prophets. But they are going to Christ you into their Christestial Kingdom forever with their continuing regurgitation of their prophets who when pressed on who's in charge are all about Christ. They are Christologists! They will bring everyone dead or alive to Christ for their Christestial Kingdom processing into the eternities.

I find it so amusing that they glorify a completely fictional

character and his borrowed and pretend gosple and never stop

to find out more about Jeebus like the fact he is not a real

historical person. Oh well.

It would be so much nicer if Joseph Smith was a fictional person and Jesus were real.

I believe that the Joseph Smith character portrayed by the Mormonic church IS a fictional character.

Christology is also the name used for a subfield of theology. It's one of those things that Reformed theologians tend to enjoy using as a test for "heresy," which when detected in others persuades them they have been saved forever.

Christology, Soteriology, Pneumatology, Eschatology...I suppose any of them could be an appropriate name for a cult.
