My favorite is whichever pie I am looking at. Who could choose?

The winner though would have to be Coconut Cream--preferably made by Aunt Laura who cannot be with us to make her coconut pies because she is making them for Heavenly Father in the CK as we speak. When they said at her funeral that "Heavenly Father had called her home," we all knew why.

Darn. Had someone told me there was Coconut Cream Pie in the CK I would maybe have tried harder to get there...would have had to pay tithing, accept a calling or three, do the ward vacuuming and scrubbing every 3rd week, oh, yeah, and get married again.

Only a few hurdles! Pie would have been worth it though!

++++++++1!!

The local Hutterite colony brings wonderful produce and homemade pies to the farmer's market. Their strawberry rhubarb is amazing, especially for breakfast with a big cup of coffee.

Lets see, a quick google: June 28, 1389: Ottomans defeat Serbian army in the bloody Battle of Kosovo, leading to the Ottoman conquest of Southeastern Europe....

So you will celebrate that with pie?

That’s sure better, unless you’re already using the tau symbol for time. If only Euler had thought of it.

The important question is whether Tau is the same thing as Tao (mind blown) or just another couple of pies.

I'm going to eat a circle to celebrate. I'll chew my way around the circumference, then chomp straight through the diameter.

I figure it will take me 3.14 times longer to chew around the circumference than it will to chomp across the diameter.

Pie has been known to increase circumferences.

Yes, but our gut circumference relative to out gut diameter will always be 3.14.....constant, never changing, so at least we have that going for us.

maybe I'm being a little pie-dantic, but you mean to say radius...

Nope, I meant to say diameter. Pi is the ratio of a circle to its diameter. If you use radius, you have to double that to get the diameter.

C/D = Pi

C/2R = Pi
