Don't plan on meeting any exmos right now... just curious how many fellow Southerners there are here.

I'm in Alabama.

Actually, I don't really follow college football, BUT you NEVER admit that here. That's like being an exmo in Utah ;)

How northeast? I'm 15 miles from the TN-VA border.

Were you a member of the Kingsport Stake during the 1980s? My dad was the SP, and I'm using my real first name.

yeah, that was my Ward, but I jumped ship in 1987. My TBM family is still a very big part of that Ward.

I'm a little nervous to identify the exact city (I know, totally irrational, but I'm not fully out of the "apostate closet") ... let's just say some where south of Fayetteville, TN ... west of Scottsboro, East of Decatur, and North of the "river".

That should keep the TBM (phantom) lurkers off my trail for now ;)

Dagny -- are you in AL?

Not sure if I really want that particular job but it might be an option. We'll see. I've never even been to AL so I'm in the learning stage.

I love it here. Alabama has my vote. I prefer Northern Alabama, but have lived in the LA -- LOWER ALABAMA and the people are good there too. The Baptists are into their religion, but they don't bother you. Plus, we have the National Peanut Festival and the Rattle Snake Rodeo! Sweet Home!

I'm a little concerned about the heat and humidity after living in Idaho. I love winter.

However, the people I have met from AL so far have been friendly and the area looks pretty nice.

I'm not a fan of Baptists any more than Mormons but I'm used to keeping my opinions to myself and finding the things I have in common with coworkers and neighbors.

30 miles south - somewhere near Locust Grove, or are you down I-85?

I haven't lived in it for a couple of years though. If the pending short sale goes through I'll lose my connection to the South. Do I count?

I loved my time in AL and sometimes I wish I was still there. Living in Utah as an exmo does have its challenges.

We live in North Florida, just under the Georgia border (Jacksonville). We might as well be part of Georgia., But if that happened, then we'd all have to cheer for the DAWGS instead of the GATORS - and that would be a real tragedy!

;o)

In Mississippi. I think that's why I get depressed. I have a nice place though. If my wife was not semi-TBM I'd love to host a meeting of my fellow Satanists.
