Never thought I would see anything related to sewing in Utah go under!
The man who runs the web auction lives in the next town over from me near San Francisco. Usually he handles things like large construction company closures. He does things around the country. This is the first Utah one I received.
TBM sisters don't want to sew any more?

It doesn't mention the employees!

Were they set free and allowed to just leave?

They are now employed in the Garment District in NYC and will be granted their freedom after they have paid off their travel debts--with interest, of course.

Reminds me of an old (un)motivation poster:

"We can't be fired. Slaves must be sold!"

Walmart. I heard somewhere they have 5 dollar tees and 7 dollar capris so who wants to sew?

Fabric costs more than that. Besides, there are phones to stare at now.

and wife (I guess). I made my kids one outfit and I was done. Yes, it is MUCH cheaper to just buy the clothes from stores, even more expensive stores. I used to buy my kids' clothes at ZCMI all the time and buy most of my son's clothes at Kohl's. My daughter shops there a lot, too. I buy my disabled brother shirts in a larger size for $3 a piece. You just have to watch the sales.

So why would you sew? Well, you can quilt with sewing machines, so that would be one reason.

Please send the Weeke CNC machining Center to me. I've got some G-code I'm just dying to try out.

Praise Jeebsus! Now the ladies can sit at home and read over their lesson plans with family as Lord Nelson commands them to. The Glory is all theirs!

Sad to see these guys go out of business. Looks like they had some pretty cool cabinets and tables.
