One reason so many Priesthood blessings with anointings do not work is simple to understand.

They do not use PURE OLIVE OIL. They use a blend - often with rapeseed oil in the mix - among others.

Pure Olive Oil is specified and many are labeled "pure" - when they are blends.

You have to check carefully to find the right stuff.

It's even more complicated than that. You can't use pure Spanish, Greek, or Moroccan olive oil, only pure cold-pressed Italian olive oil. And if that weren't complicated enough, only pure cold-pressed Italian olive oil from Tuscany or Umbria will do. None of that crap Ligurian or Calabrian stuff, please!

It also only works if it is consecrated and administered by priesthood holders who have never masturbated.

Yes, that explains a lot. My ex is still gay for some odd reason

no matter how many blessings he had or I had to help save him. I should let the bishop know I've got it figured out.
