Thanks. I always wondered which desert was home to the desertrat1. Nice to know.

I've only been once to Arizona and we were staying in some hotel near Phoenix and the desert view was breathtaking. The rocks the cactus. Wow. Of course then on our walk through it all the two dogs got into the jumping cholla and we spent most of the day at the vet with both dogs put under and we all had pliers pulling the spines out of everywhere. Tons inside their mouths as their instinct had been to bite whatever was hurting them. That was scary. The poor little things were freaked out of their minds.

We had them all through our arms as well but you don't notice until its over.

Poor dogs! Guess there is a learning curve with cactus—and for people too! Glad you are ok, Done!

Desertrat, do you like the Phoenix area? I am thinking of moving there next year.
