Mormon church operates private prisons?

There used to be those who claimed that the LDS church owned or had stock in a private prison company. Has that ever been proven?

Wouldn't surprise me... The American Gulag, designed to prop up the state economy through forced labor, often for favored businesses. The LDS hypocrisy is breathtaking.
