Kirton-McKonkie (alias Kirkland-McCostco) to have their names removed from the church's membership list?

A form could be prepared with the top half being the resignation form, with the appropriate future former member's information, and the bottom half would be the legal verbiage that the Notary Public would fill out to confirm that the notary was provided sufficient documentation on which to base confirmation of identity.

Not everyone, but a good portion of the American populace can get the notarization done for free at their bank branch.

And of course, it would make sense to enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope so that they'd have to send confirmation back to the person making the request.

And you know what? Kirkland-McCostco would love it because you know they are billing the church on an hourly basis for processing the resignations, probably at paralegal hourly fees, but using $9/hour clericals and making bank!!

If anything, the church ought to be checking to make sure Kirkland-McCostco isn't submitting names gathered from tombstones from all over Utah, because no confirmation letters are being sent out, so who would know? And since it's interfamilial (you know, the same crime family), who would care?
