I think it's cool that he went to a church parking lot to sell his ibc root beer. Let's see if the church arrests him for trespassing.

His mother was on the news last night and said they had moved there from somewhere like Georgia and he had been having a difficult time making friends. He at first didn't put root on the sign and the cop told him it might help. It seemed at least most people were enjoying the whole situation and giving him a lot of business.

P.S. I do believe this is happening in Brigham City, not SLC.

The article got it wrong. It's in Brigham City, not Salt Lake City. (The rest of the civilized word knows, or cares, little of Utah geography.)So, yeah, it's a mormon church.

That reminds me of a cartoon in the New Yorker many years ago.

Two well-heeled couples are sharing wine before dinner in NYC. One of the men explains that he and his wife are from Salt Lake City. Their interlocutors look befuddled.

"It's near Park City."

"Oh, of course!"
