Nephrite warrior

My daughter overheard my ex and my divorced sister talking that if they can’t find a worthy Mormon in this life god will give them a stripling nephite warrior in the next life. They really do believe this and that wouldn’t be so bad. I asked my sister if she would be ok with an arranged marriage in this life, NO....she wouldn’t, she is 70 now and yet she would be ok for the eternities with some stranger. Crazy thinking

When we were totally TBM's, we told our 19 year old daughter (who was fretting because she didn't have a steady boyfriend yet) not to worry because she was probably being saved for a stripling warrior hunk! UGGHHH!

ha, ha, ha, I always thought it was a "strapping" warrior, not a "stripling" warrior. I'd rather have a strapping warrior.

Stripling means a young man: "a juvenile between the onset of puberty and maturity." "No longer a boy but not yet a man." Kind of weird to think that a grown woman fantasizes about having a "stripling" lad instead of a "man" in the next life.

Now "strapping," that's something entirely different! I'll take a strapping man over a stripling lad any day!
