Did you grow up in an alternate Mormonism than me?

I went to BYU. I actually hung out with some fairly alternative types there but nothing like getting naked in total darkness to check your auras.

And Ouija boards albeit made by the same company that makes Candyland, were thought of as being in Satan's service.

When I played with a Ouija board I thought I was sinning worst than sex play with friends, dropping acid, or cursing out my parents.

I still wouldn't just because of the fears they put in me as a child. No other reason. I still haven't done any drugs, oooppps. I use pot based cream for my painful hands. I cussed out my parents many times. No sex play with friends. My "husband" said that in little old Rexburg their whole neighborhood was involved in sex play from young ages.

I was definitely raised in the mormonism you were raised in or at least I thought I was. I've been rather shocked in my lifetime how my friends and neighbors actually "lived" mormonism. Now many of the worst are TBM to the max. Makes me want to vomit. Actually, I'm right now missing my old neighbor's funeral. I debated going to it and I don't know why. I never liked the guy. I just spent a lot of time with the kids and the mother. He was kind of sleazy. He kept playboys under his mattress and we found some porn magazines in the garbage sitting on top. The mother was always in love with some other man and thoguht they were in love with her. So now he has died and I find out he worked in the temple for 7 years so his whole family went to the temple Saturday at the time he worked. That was the last straw. I decided I wasn't going to go listen to the bullshit about this man who now is a good ol' TBM. I won't go into the way he treated me, but it was highly inappropriate, BUT, no, he didn't sexually abuse me.

Oh well. Wasn't going to get into that. Glad I didn't go. Glad I forgot so I didn't wonder about it all morning.

I thought our family was dysfunctional. We just didn't fake it. All the other families lived double lives.

There was lots of it in my Orem neighborhood. I wasn't allowed much at other peoples houses so I missed much of it. Ironically, a lot happened on Sunday afternoon. We couldn't change out of Sunday dress or play with friends - but The Wonderful World of Disney was required viewing.

Again, have you not seen the low budget, but highly profitable movie series, "Paranormal"? It's all fun and games, with the Ouiga board, until the next morning you wake up and see cloved foot prints throughout the house from a demonic being, you wake up w/ claw marks on your back, or you are attacked in the middle of the night and levitated off the bed, etc. Suddenly it's not fun and games anymore.

I am joking of course, but at the same time, I personally would not use this board in my own house. Too risky. To many things we don't know.

Nope. I'm not interested. But I would like to see the not-made-yet movie Paraspiritual about the BYU students getting naked in basements and auraling each other.

Naked auraling??! I gotta hand to whoever concocted that. What a creative excuse to get naked and close! Beats Levi Loving all to hell. Amazing what people will come up with to get around sexual repression.

So how many auras were visible, and how many encounters were just exercises in snake charming? Inquiring minds want to know™

I was stuck going to engagement candle passing circles in the dark and I could have been going to naked aura basement parties?


I guess I should have lived in the Rivera apartments instead of Campus Plaza or something!
