My husband and I were standing in the fouler facing a long walk to the end of the hallway towards the kitchen (yes, they sill had them at that time), when an overweight lady was walking down the hallway. Suddenly, her drawers dropped down around her ankles.

All we could do to save her embarrassment was to look away as if we hadn't seen what had happened--but we did!

How much did you save her?
Wait (weight), let me guess.

Embarrassment, for Some, is
Humor, even Hilarious to Others.

Maybe I should read "funny stories" 1.0

I don't have any funny LDStories
NOPE, all mine are (Mormon) Bad.

OH well- I have many and a very different take on everything.

My story of the day is the time My Single Buddy decided that we needed to have a Single Adult Conference - because he wanted us to meet women.

He got permission and formed a counsel,It was insisted that I help with the planing and be on the planing committee,

The one and only meeting I agreed to attend was the meeting to plan topics for lessons. I am very sarcastic by nature and really had no Idea that anyything I said was to be taken seriously.

So I spouted out topics when asked for them

Such as YOU ARE Single how on earth do you do family home evening alone?

Making diner for two when it is really diner for one.

We needed speakers so I suggested that we Call Dallon OAks to come speak to us and give us some advice since he had recently lost his wife.

Well I quit that committee halfway through that meeting because it all just made me sick.

However I did go to the next single adult function

Where the flier was posted with all my silly suggestions as topics.

My buddy then informed me that he called Salt lake to see if Dallon Oaks would agree to come. He was informed that Elder Oaks and others did not go to the local Wards for those types of activities,,,,,,,and that he Elder OAks had just recently remarried LOL

Funniest story ever told here is the now fabled tale of Elder Kotex Head.
