So. Utah Ex/PostMormon lecture begins its Fall lecture series.

Plan now to join us the second Sunday of September, the 8th, to hear from Clair Barrus. Clair has published book reviews with the Journal of Mormon History and the Association for Mormon Letters, and has presented papers or participated on panels at the John Whitmer Historical Association Conference, Mormon History Association Conference, Sunstone Symposium, Sunstone retreats, and the Mormon Media Studies Symposium.

He has been a returning guest on the Year of Polygamy Podcast, and has forthcoming podcast episodes with Sunstone and Gospel Tangents.

Topic of Mr. Barrus will lecture will be The “MASONIC MAGIC MORMON CONNECTION”.

He has recently published an article in the John Whitmer Historical Journal: "Religious Authority, Sexuality, and Gender Roles of the Elect Ladies of the Early Republic: Jemima Wilkinson, Ann Lee, and Emma Smith".

He is a Senior Systems Engineer and manages the daily digest “Today in Mormon History” (todayinmormonhistory.com).

Lecture will be held at the St. George Red Lion 850 So. Bluff St. St. George Utah at 2 PM

Come and enjoy a great lecture and mingle with like-minded people.
