I try not to use the word "hate". So much of it in this world. But I can dislike with extreme prejudice.

I don’t know if there’s anyway around it – it looks like I am a bigot in some regards.

There might be a little wiggle room with the word tolerant as it’s defined. So maybe I clear the bar.

No. He is the greatest author/thinker/philosopher/orator/debator on the planet IMHO.
I really cannot find where he and I disagree. I agree with every word I have ever heard him speak or write.
His response to 9/11, The End of Faith, was a masterpiece.
His follow up book, Letter To A Christian Nation, was pure genius.
But he wants no association with atheists. He is a pantheist, who is deeply spiritual and meditative, contemplative. If you really listen to what he has to say, he speaks 100 x's more truth than all the PRofits combined, in a single book, IMHO.
Has very little use for Islam, or any other religion, but is cool with Muslims he co authors books with.

So let's see if I understand this correctly. If someone does something that triggers your pre-conceived notions of what a bigot is, then it's perfectly acceptable at that point to label them as a bigot. In such a case, the subject of your judgements then becomes 'one of those people'. After that, it becomes acceptable to then treat the person without respect and to label them also as 'haters' or whatever else our pre-conceived notions tell us about this kind of person and others like them, because they are a bigot. Makes sense to me (not).

I don't believe in bowing to political correctness to apise people who choose to think this way. Sometimes, you have to ask who the 'deplorables' really are. In most cases, it is immoral put such a label on anyone based on their religious or political positions alone, or because they have a belief that 'surely must be tied to racism' (once again, a bigoted judgement).
