He was just bragging about being in Finland. If he doesn't tell people now special he is, how they going to know?

He did suggest an interesting question, if the MMM wasn't The Restoration's finest hour, what was?

And how do the "finest hours" match up with the "worst hours"?

is by 'our Dan Peterson'?

at least it appears thoughtful but wait: Why hasn't this been resolved by an apology & compensation from ChurchCo to the surviving family members?

'you can Leave the MMM, but you can't leave it alone'!

Reparations will never happen because:
1. It is right and just.
2. It would be a huge PR win for the Cult.
3. It offends Mormonism’s one true God, the almighty dollar.

Better to let history have her pound of flesh. That’s the only road criminals can take, given all of the higher ones.

SO true -

3. It offends Mormonism’s one true God, the almighty dollar.

From another post of the mighty DCP:

"What she [Sharon Eubank] said also correlates rather neatly
with an article that I have long wanted to write but haven’t
yet settled down to doing, about the striking changes that
occurred in science, technology, and other areas after the
First Vision in 1820 and the establishment of the Restored
Church in 1830. Other authors – authors who aren’t Latter-
day Saints – have sometimes picked precisely those years
out as marking the birth of the modern age. Again, this is
possibly coincidental. But it’s noteworthy to me, and it’s
even something that, if its significance is what I’m tempted
to think it is, I would have expected as an accompaniment to
the Restoration."

Tee-hee :D

One of the benefits of the restoration in 1830 was the growth amongst the saints of men having multiple wives. It was good of ghawd to reintroduce that privilege.
