It makes the list including incarcerated people, financial problems, addicted people, divorcees, and mental and physical diseases.

A FB Mormon posted this video. No matter what Mormons and Mormonism has to say about accepting LGBT+ people doing so is the same as accepting addicts, criminals, divorcees, and mentally ill people.

A very puzzling video. It also mentions "living internationally."

Is that supposed to be a struggle like death of a spouse or chronic illness?

And if it wasn't a Mormon video, I'd certainly question why even mention LGBT family members?

Outside of Zion is a trial.

Mormonism made a firm decision long ago that gender and sexual orientation are one in the same. Any variances are struggles. No mention of family members struggling with pornography. I find that telling.

That's eye opening that they have struggles. I always thought they were chosen because they were practically perfect in every way? Family members in prison, I wonder what for? hommicide or drugs, human-trafficking perhaps?

I want details!

Good luck finding those details. I bet they are good for counting "afflictions" and PR but their god is in those details. Probably nothing they would even talk about in GC....because they haven't most likely.

And about the LGBT+ it is either scraping their bottom of their barrel or just plain hateful or both. Gotten love that faith promoting "struggle" with their supposedly "loved ones" identifying as LGBT+.

Making Mormon leaders fit into the struggle bus is more like a temple trip than a trip to the hood.

“Family members in prison, I wonder what for?”

Mormonism is a prison. For most, it’s a life sentence without parole.

Wow they sure look like a fun bunch! Well if you like your videos on the sappy side . . .

While listing their struggles during the part with the depressing funeral music, they forgot to add the struggle they are all having with integrity, and even worse, the struggle with being boring and mundane. And the struggle of being so far behind the really amazing women around the world.

Listing the challenge of having LGBQ+ family members and being a stepmom right in there with incarceration and addiction? Uh . . .

Then the music brightens and the smiles come out and we find out some triumphantly lived internationally (as MP wives no doubt) and some actually got an impressive college degree (took a long time to nab a husband), and, oh my gosh! Some work outside the home! Just wow! And, some work in the home! My heroes!

The church has cheesiest PR. It's so corporate and canned. That video was pure cheese whiz.

I would say Jell-O not Cheez Whiz. At least Cheez Whiz can be spiced up.
