Saw this in my FB newsfeed from a family member. Already has several "likes". It mentions the time and place and sponsored by "BYU Office of Student Success and Inclusion".

Below this a plea: "Also still looking for LGBTQ+ BYU Students"

1-When was this BYU office created?
2-Is this a first for BYU?
3-Didn't Holland proclaim that there were no LGBT people in the mormon church?

I must say I am somewhat gobsmacked by this if I'm being honest.

Oh, please someone go to this and report back.

The gall! I do believe it is a first. Can't say I'm surprised. Giving the impression that they are nice people is their new goal.



The Mormon church---AKA the Great and Abominable Whore of a Minor Part of the Earth---will resort to any lengths to ensure that their facade appears to be what is acceptable to a kinder gentler society.

In this case they are going to attempt to use the LGBTQBYU+ as their shills to make themselves look good.

Why can't they quit concentrating on appearing to be decent and just be decent? It's a helluva lot easier. Keeping up that ridiculous front is a lot of work.

What will they do with that information then?

I don't see any advantages in letting the church know that one is gay. I'm in no way advocating people denying who they are, but the church really targets the misfits and tries hard to persuade them to "change". Just my one cent (I'm having a sale today).

How about we just stop worrying what people do in their bedroom. Who cares what they do as long as it’s with consenting adults and nobody is getting hurt?

When I ran a business I could care less if my employees were gay or straight. As long as they did the work I hired them to do is all I cared about. What does a person’s sex life have to do with anything? I never cared.
