I'm safely upwind watching all sorts of interesting aircraft do amazing things. I went out to help a friend with their horses before the sun came up, and have been watching the airshow once we sent the horse-trailer up the road.
This is wonderful--I've been concerned about you and your family.
Glad you were able to help with the horses, and I hope the winds die down sooner rather than later. We are getting some high-speed wind gusts down here, too.

Happy you aren't getting the fiercer wind gusts. The weather and news reports are saying up to 80 mph wind gusts for us.
A short, and beautiful, visual story of a Simi Valley horse taking conscious care of his/her family, as the wildfire continued around them in the area.
