I suppose it depends on how handled the members are.

I don't doubt that some like Jeffrey Holland absolutely know what's going on. Marlin Jensen was certainly aware as well when he was a GA, since he said as much.

Others are probably like a lot of our relatives, who know something's up, but don't want to know the details.

Holland and Uchtdorf have failed their Oaks and Nelson superiors. Keeping Mormonism relevant is exhausting work.
