In human relations there are only three types of problems 1.my
2.your
3.our First my definition of a problem.
A problem is when you find yourself in a situation that you wish to change and are unable to do so. If you don't wish to change you do not have a problem with the issue!
That being said: 1. my problem is: I want to quit drinking, smoking, over eating, or what ever and I am unable to do do ( I have a problem) 2. Your problem is: You want me to change and I won't.( you have a problem) It is not that I do one of these things. It is that I won't do what you want! 3. Our problem is:(we have a problem) Our problem comes not when I drink etc. nor when I won't do what you want :OUR problem is if we can't resolve the issue between us! I find this to be continously true in human relations.
