Thanks EOD, I am enjoying reading yours while also forging my way through a book of 4 Raymond Chandler novels, which I have somehow got this far in life without reading. One writer is slightly better than the other, but there's not much in it.

I'm interested in how the sexual tension between the two cops plays out. My guess is that it will take so long to reach the end of the tale that our hero will find that he has stopped admiring his partner's decolletage due to age-related loss of libido, and that she will find love with a hot young Mexican police-person of unknowable gender.

At least I hope you do not have to write any scenes of intra-cop sexual activity - they must be harder to write than crime scene reveals...

Lovely, I've picked them all up and stolen them by putting them into a Word file bearing my name ;-)

I'd try to pass them off as my own work, but I could never write as well as EOG...

I'm looking forward to reading it - at my employer's expense ;-)
