Want something? Just go without eating. Works every time. Fasting to quench the fire in Australia is a sure bet. Next, let's all fast to end world hunger. Don't eat until everybody does. If it takes long enough, success is guaranteed. Starving to death cures everything.

It never failed to make me hungry.

As soon as I was baptized, I was denied breakfast and lunch on fast Sundays. I cheated whenever I could. They called the abuse a covenant, so I learned to hate that word. It permeates their surrender of individuality. The mass of protoplasm that I was upon conception was immediately marked Mormon. I owed God for ovulation. A goddam 10% tax for life! But it was a man's hand that took the money every time. How could the others not see it? I did ask. They couldn't answer me without changing the subject.

The Mormon light held to the world is gaslight.

I've been working and haven't stopped to eat.

Well, the miracle that happened because my prayers were not answered (per other thread) are directly related to fasting. So I guess I was righteous enough after all, unlike what my daughter and other mormons would tell you.
