As for Einstein, the quantum particles did not point and laugh when he died. But there was that time when they did point and laugh one night when Einstein let loose a loud and noisy gas/plasma emission (possibly related to the bean salad he had enjoyed at the Princeton cafeteria earlier in the day).
The laughter was short-lived though and came to an abrupt end when they realized that it was no ordinary post-bean-salad event, but was the moment when their odious arch-nemesis was introduced to the universe, namely: The Quantum Farticles.
Nothing has been the same since then. It's still early days for the quantum farticles, but their power and influence is growing exponentially.
