She got convicted of "disrupting a religious service" for shouting out, "QUIT PROTECTING PEDOPHILES!" So loud it could be heard on the broadcast.

She deserves a good citizenship award. If only MORmONS had her courage, maybe they wouldn't sing "Praise to the Pedophile" while kids are being raped by penisholders.

Just read that today, and was flabbergasted. All they're doing is coming off as dicks, and--once again--shooting themselves in the foot vis-a-vis member retention, let alone recruitment. Of course, we know the following: the church dispatched someone from the all-powerful Kirton McConkie (having now basically become the actual LDS church); the judge was LDS. Get the point?

I don't think the gal had much of a legal defense, but it was Message Sent by her; ? does she team up with Sam Young?

these things 'prove' how apathetic / withdrawn most LDS people are, they think protecting ChurchCo is more important / higher priority; That's Exactly what ChurchCo Leaders want!

Didn't the church have a say in whether or not charges were pressed? While Nelson struggles to eliminate the word "Mormon" and focus on claiming that the church is Christian, couldn't the church do what Jesus would do? Would Jesus prosecute someone for irreverence expressed over crimes committed against children? It doesn't make sense to protect child molestors from prosecution but to prosecute someone who complains about the church cover-ups of child molestations, by prosecuting them for their irreverence. The Mormon church is not Christian. They just use the IRS loopholes for religions while not really being a valid religion. This prosecution is just one more example of that.
