Our Hevenly Father has a difficult time with establishing only true churches. For your consideration:

“...until church financial secrets appeared online...”

¡Que curioso!

"Every week, Moishe would pray to win the lottery. “Please God,” he would say, “let me win the lottery. I need to win the lottery.”

After several years of this, God finally replied and God’s booming voice rattled Moishe more than a little bit. “Moishe,” God said, “meet me half way. Buy a ticket.”

This is one of the many types of things that just didn't match my reality as a child born to mormon parents.

God works in mysterious ways.....like that is something to respect and not challenge. But in real life, someone that acts mysteriously can't necessarily be trusted and might be best avoided.

I figured that out by about age 6 or 7. My TBM dad lived to be 81 and never did.

There is a difference between "acts" and "works." Just saying.

Yes, hence the wording "can't necessarily be" and "might be".

The point of my childhood reasoning being, why does god get to be all mysterious and do things we don't understand? We just have to believe its all good? But we have to be open and honest, transparent...my TBM parents don't like it when I behave in mysterious ways, but its OK for the god they want me to believe in.
