Rare Ass carvings.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle/lifestyle-buzz/extremely-rare-assyrian-carvings-discovered-in-iraq/ar-BBZ4kfr

Archeology can find carvings from 700 B.C.E but nothing in The New World from 600 B.C.E for peoples who had vast populations, wars, marvels workings of cement, steel, and other things.

What gives?

And then there is this.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Izapa_Stela_5

My daughter recently returned from her mission and brought a few reproductions of this on a small scale. Apparently Central American members and many Utahans think this is proof for Nephites and it Lehi's Dream and not a creation myth.

There is lots of Aztec carvings. Such as the Aztec calendar. And various Idols, and also carved large heads that could be from the BOM time period.

A more inconvenient question is why isn't there any African language carved in anything. Where's all the African cities from ancient times?

And also Benin, which was for hundreds of years one of the world's major cities.

What happened to it? Why aren't there any ruins? Europeans, that's why.

It might be better for you if you ceased displaying your ignorance and racism for all to see. And yes, tossing in the bit about Africans, which was irrelevant to the original OP, was a racist cheap shot. We're well aware of your white supremacist tendencies.

Moreover a lot of the West and Central African cities were built of wood, which doesn't hold up well over time.

And the fact that Egypt is in Africa. But what I've discovered over the years is that when racists refer to "Africa", they actually mean "Sub-Saharan Africa".

It goes back to imperialism and colonization. You have to dehumanize and denigrate a peoples past/character in order to subjugate, and enslave (literally or economically) them. Much like we still do with minorities and immigrants.

Yes. Egypt is "white" regardless of the fact that some pharaohs were black and more were almost certainly of mixed heritage.

Race didn't mean as much to ancient Egypt as it does to modern xenophobes.

Are you suggesting these are Nephite, Zormanite, Jaredite, and or Lamanite?

I'm waiting for the "curious workmanship" from peoples in the New World like that in the old since supposedly their was a huge culture transfer in the form of one chosen family.

The absence of evidence isn't always a evidence of absence unless like Book of Mormon history and the likelihood that there is a tea cup orbiting Mars, any plausibility requires substantial evidential explanation. Otherwise I'm going with substantial probability of no evidence = never happened. It is the default.

The claims of The Book of Mormon are too large to ignore the necessity of a preponderance of evidence. Other "lost" cultures don't usually have references so detailed. But then again maybe Atlantis really existed.

Love it. An angel took all the evidence and left us dinosaur bones.

In case you never got the opportunity to go on a Book of Mormon Lands tour, you can in Central America see the Nephite carving of Huizilophchtli which is a Hebrew word for Hummingbird:God of Sun and War.

Also the Lamanite God, Tezcatlipoca--Hebrew for God of DarKness and Sorcery, the Clouded Mirror God. Always depicted with the cursed dark skin.

Of course how can we forget the carvings of Quetzalcoatl who was originally the mascot of the Biblical prophet Nimrod? Interestingly, this name is Reformed Egyptian and translates to the Feathered Serpent.

And what about the carvings of Tialoc? Reformed Egyptian again for He Who Makes Things Sprout. God of Rain who kept the wheat crops growing for the Cureloms and Cummons to graze. Not to be confused with Viagrloc who made other things sprout.

Yes, much of these carving have an Asian quality to them, but Heavenly Father has always been into Cultural Appropriation, and thus the Masonic ceremonies in the Mormon temples.

Book of Mormon Land tours will open your eyes like nothing else.

This will come as no surprise to most of you:

Back around 2011 a gentleman showed up on PostMormon·Org claiming to be a member of a family business down in the Yucatan. He regaled us with stories of the money the family made conducting 'Book of mormon' themed tours of the ruins. They had become adept at identifying tourists from the morridor and catering to the particular needs of this sub-species of White & Delightsome Americans by parroting the appropriate BofM scriptures, and their interpretations, the ones that made the morridorians giddy with delight.

Apparently, if you kiss up enough to a morridorian, they get very chummy and tip well.

You gotta know your audience. Joseph did.

Telling people what they want to hear has always been and will always be magical.

Or the Nephites only carved soap. They had to wash, didn’t they?
