I am going to bet she texts the old bishop who was bishop when she went back to church. He is like a father figure to her. I'm SURE nothing would happen just because I know the people well, but I'm sure she texts him and I'm sure his wife is fine with it, as my daughter texts his wife, too.
When heterosexual married people start texting each other regularly, there is potential for harm to the spouses. I used to hear radio chatter among coworkers at night, and I could tell when things were headed downhill for one or both spouses. The only married man that I would want a text from would be a gay married man who can laugh and flirt without expectations of an affair.
i've been communicating with a married religious woman to arrange get togethers with kids. sometimes i get no response. or it takes ages for her to respond. and her responses seem tepid.
i think i'll pass that duty on to my partner and see if anything changes.

OK, I see what you mean now. If you are saying that you are gay and she is responding to you like that, you may be dealing with a TBM married woman who looks down her nose at gay people, and believes that her children need to shun your children. If that's the case, don't bother with her.
