Kansas City Chiefs Coach Andy Reid is a convert to mormonism and played football at BYU.

Cancel church on Superbowl Sunday. Time to fast and pray for KC to win in all.

And like Johnny Miller and all the other professional sportspeople who work on the holy sabbath day, it's well understood that as long as they pay their tithing, they're good to go to the Celestial Kingdom.

I wonder how 'active' Coach is during the off-season?

from an article Jul 1, 2016 - "He converted to the Mormon faith in 1979. ..."

Conveniently after the Mormon church stopped it's aparteid policies and claimed to have a new doctrine...

He converted for the woman who would become his wife. It wasn't because of the June 1978 "policy" change.

I was conceived around the same time The Chiefs went to their last Superbowl.

Them going 50 years later is a sign. I guess I have to go back to church.

No, the sign is just that you need to start procreating more.

It's probably hopeless now that the Amish have cut off your beard.

I watched Superbowl II in my dorm at Ricks in 1967. Haven't watched a full game since.

They had television in 1967?

While it sounds like crazy talk, I am here to testify to you that I personally sat and watched The Monkees cavorting about on the small COLOR TV screen while sitting in a living room in Colonia Churubusco Campestre, down deep in the heart of Mexico, in the Summer of 67.

They had airplanes transporting players in 1970 and God.

He recently acted against the 1970s Stewardess.

If KCC wins the SB, is it equivalent to when JFK was the first Catholic elected as President, or BO the first black President?

It is all in God's plans. Have my immaculately Mormon conception. Kansas City in the news. I'm born grow up move to KC around the same age as Jesus when he was crucified. I make it 50 years and payout! It is a sign!!!

sections of Kansas City, MO, and environs for a spike in the stats. What better way to celebrate and how many of those boys will be named Andrew or Andy?

In two weeks immediately after Superbowl 2020 either the birth rate will be set to spike again in nine months or the domestic violence calls will spike into the wee hours of the morning.

1) Water pressure in cities drops at half-time because of toilets flushing, and
2) Domestic violence spikes on Superbowl Sunday. However,

3) The NY Times has endorsed both the Chiefs and the 49ers to win.

3) The NY Times has endorsed both the Chiefs and the 49ers to win

That's OK because Foxnews picked the Cowboys and gatewaypundit picked the Yankees.

The Patriots lost their last regular season game to the Dolphins, and were then eliminated in the WILD CARD round, for pity's sake.

The end times are surely nigh.

We probably should have kept him a little longer. Wentz is a phenom, but he's getting too busted up this early in his career.

KC is just such a happy place to live. We're so proud of our Chiefs. Most of us have waited a life time for this. Have to hand it to Coach Reid. Knows how to lead, coach, and recruit. He is not an "in your face" over the top type of guy, but more laid back and easy going. Works for him, plus a technical guru. He really emulates the persona of Lavell Edwards, whom I have met and observed over time.
