Somehow I think Oaks and Nelson would pose no threat to the Black Widow's egg sacs.

There's hope yet. It doesn't have to be an outhouse. Picnic tables or other outdoors wooden structures are great places to find black widows and their nests. Maybe one of those cheesy wishing wells that were popular yard decorations in the 70's/80's?

I clicked the link, and then spent the next 3-1/2 hours strolling down memory lane. I sorely miss those carefree days.

In my youth, I used to have a family of black widows living on my window sill. I didn't bother them, and they didn't bother me.

Until a black widow actually bites Oaks we won't know for sure that it wouldn't kill the spider.
