The leadership of god’s one true church is going to be facing some serious questions in the coming months, including:

When should weekly meetings resume?

Will handshakes and other physical contact be discouraged?

Will “ministers” still be required to visit homes?

How will the ordinance of the sacrament be handled (with masks and gloves?)

When will temples be reopened? Will the endowment ceremony need to be reworked again to avoid signs, tokens, the prayer circle, and physical touching at the veil?

With the need for serious, antiseptic cleaning of meetinghouses and temples, will the church still rely on members for their janitorial staff?

You know what would really help with all these difficult questions? Some divine guidance. If only they could somehow get direct revelation from god.

I wonder if this whole coronavirus thing caught ghawd completely by surprise?

I doubt they'll hire people to sanitize their buildings. This is another tragedy just waiting to happen.

But...but...I heard Glenn Beck say yesterday that his church was the first to cancel meetings, before the government ordered it, so I know Heavenly Father will tell them what to do before anyone else!

Wasn’t Glenn Beck trying to get something he called Christalam off the ground ?

It's all comes across like a giant Monty Python comedy to me. The all powerful God has to work around a virus apparently. They have to make excuses why blessings and faith are impotent. Instead they come up with logos and hankie waving.

The tide has gone out and religion turned out to be full of claims that were pure BS.

My favorite for today is that the "healing" pools at the French Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes are closed temporarily. The jokes just write themselves.

All the deliberately misleading claims are being exposed. The sad thing is that the religious people won't care and will explain it away.

Take your pick:
1) It's a test of faith
2) It was all nonsense in the first place.

Mormons stop blessing the sacrament and pestering the members about their useless blessings, it's awfully dirty past, and their terribly wicked futures!

Members take turns preaching to/ "teaching" each other through the P.A. (planning association), and going room to rumor, house to spouse, baptizing and baiting one another, on the TV (tell-a-vision - if you seen a vision) and the radio, via phone call or at the mall, through revisions, transcriptions & assumptions, televangelizing, either through in-person (haphazard at best) "ministering" or by just staying home and sulking.

Member LIE ability takes on real meaning.

Inactivity at all time HIGH. Followers learn the truth at home. Don't return!
