Posters come and go. That’s what keeps the Board fresh. Voices pause or pass altogether, others arrive to take their place.

Two favourite RfM voices seem uncharacteristically paused (hopefully not passed), Cheryl’s and bona dea’s.

I hardly ever agreed with the former, and the later exasperated me at times. But agreement is far from the point, and those we love can be exasperating precisely because we love them. And I love them.

Anyway, just want to wish them well, and hope things aren’t too uncomfortable for them (both suffer from various medical difficulties).

I think I saw Cheryl here the other day.

I should pause my activity here. Life seems cyclical in some ways. Sometimes RfM really hits the spot and other times it triggers the spot.

And sometimes I just don't have the time and energy it would take for me to enjoy participation here.

I hope Cheryl is well and bona dea is as well. Funny how I've never taken a long vacation from the board. It might be time for it.

Life has been a bit rough lately and I've missed you guys. I do read. I miss posting, though. It helps me get through the reality of having been mormon as no matter how long I am out of the church, there are things that influence my thinking that I was indoctrinated into.

I was watching the Jeffrey Epstein series on netflix last week. I was thinking, "Why would those girls go with him? WHY would they bring their friends and sister?" And then I realized . . . I was mormon. Look what they tried to do to me with my future husband? Be chaste, but if you need to save someone gay with whatever we think is a good idea, then it is okay. Sacrifice yourself. AND how many interviews did I sit through and think I had to??? And my parents sent me (not knowing what they asked as I asked my mother about it).

It is always there no matter how far away we get from it.

I thought the same thing when I watched that documentary. It's really sad! And you're right, somethings you don't just "get over."

Sometimes I get on my nerves.

Maybe I just have FOMO.

I don't post here any more, but occasionally read the board and saw your post. I am fine and don't have any medical problems or issues. Thanks for your concern. Hope you are well.
