How Could A Stone I’d Sit in a Fieldt

For 1400 years in weather like we have in North American with no corrosion damage and no damage to stone box with just a stone lid. Yet all sorts of damage to time capsule contents after about 120 years on a temple dedicated and blessed by a prophet Of God. Ship captains in Columbus day protected their log books etc In oil soaked leather packets. Guess God did not talk to the temple designers.
