I bet Mr Mac is hating the pandemic

Sales of missionary suit packages (suit, shoes, shirts, ties) are suffering, as are suit sales for business people who are now working from home.

Bummer.

For the non-Utahns, Mr Mac has has fancied itself the premier clothier of Mormon missionaries in Utah for (I believe) over half a century.

What has struck me is the realization of how much our economy is based on entertainment.

Restaurants, bars, movies, sporting events, travel, vacations have all taken major hits that have in turned impacted the all of the supporting businesses.

I was talking with a friend today who has been finding ways to get out. She and her fiance did a drive-through animal safari, and a visit to a sunflower farm. I admire their initiative in finding things to do.

Mr. Mac died last year....

Cheap missionary suits that fell apart not withstanding, he actually was a fairly decent human. I know many people he helped in life.

Dry cleaners are also hating the pandemic. No suits = no dry cleaning. One in my town recently closed.
