virtually every sport will potentially have boys and girls leagues.

Wrestling - girls want their own wrestling season
football - girls football coming to a HS near you
Boys play baseball - girls play softball
Why not boys playing softball & girls play baseball?

Many decades ago . . girls boxing and girls pole vaulting was not even imagined. No women used to be allowed to be long distance runners. Now women run ultra-marathons and even 100 mile races.

One sports event unlikely to attract boys participation:
Uneven parallel bars in gymnastics.
. . . although today's bars are much further apart than the days of Olga Korbut and Nadia Comeneci . . . so today's routines don't involve so much smashing the "mid-body region" into the other bar . . maybe boys could do a routine (if careful)

OTOH, would you want to watch men's synchronized swimming or rhythmic gymnastics? Count me out.

They can't catch snakes.
