Apparently they don't believe in the LDS Inc Heirarchical "Prophet" but they do believe their Dear Leader (Denver Snuffer) talks to God and so can you, for the low, low price of admission. They started a Go fund me fundraiser for building a temple, although it is unclear what ceremonies they would practice there. (ritual deflowering of virgins, on film for later upload to MORmONgurlzdotcum)

"They don’t believe polygamy — as Mormons understand it — came from God.

In fact, Snuffer denounces plural marriage and insists Smith never fully practiced it — even in the face of generally accepted historical evidence stating otherwise — though some polygamists belong to fellowships."

Their only destiny will be determined by their give-me-money accounts.

I don't think they know what they want, where they want to go, believe or teach. On the path to nowhere.

Yet Joseph Smith, in their delusional minds, got everything right as a profit and every LDS Corp tyrant [prez] has been 100% wrong.

Whatever.

It sheds light on serious problems the church faces.

Clearly Mormonism has lost its mojo and no longer inspires its followers. Snuffer and others (some of them without porn names) offer a theosophic version of Mormonism that emphasizes contact with God and individual revelation. He thus represents the inadequacy of the religion, its fundamental conservatism and lack of confidence.

Snuffer's movement also explains why the church can't condemn right-wing nuts like Ammon Bundy, Julie Rowe, and even Chad Daybell. For a lot of true believers are on the verge of rejecting the church already and an overt rejection of those characters could produce a series schism between the relatively sophisticated Mormons in big cities and the "mission field" on the one hand and, on the other, the Bunkerites digging their rat holes in northern Idaho and waiting for Jesus.

So say a prayer for the pretenders, whose hopes and dreams lie in mainstreaming but who cannot go any farther without losing 10-25% of their followers. That's what Snuffer's continuing viability means.

This isn't exactly breaking news (2017 article). The church knows about Denver Snuffer quite well. His name appears in the leaked PowerPoint presentation submitted to the Q15 concerning the reasons people are leaving the church. They are very worried.

The 2015 Oaks/Turley "Idaho Rescue" was partly a response to Snuffer's perceived threat to the church.
