Lots of TBM'S in the local Moridor have had illegal (here in Canada) US satellite dishes so they could watch BYU sports and all things CULT related for years.
In Canada, US based satellite systems are officially illegal. People will give a US billing address to get around it. Canadian providers aren't allowed to operate in the US either.

it seems to me that someone (a REAL PERSON) here in the U.S. is responsible & pays the bill....
with all the pay-per-views, I wouldn't be responsible for someone else's viewing!!

A somewhat shady topic up here. I think it's legal to bring a US dish into Canada...many have (or have smuggled them in) and there are "guys who know a guy" who will set them up. But if the US Sat provider identifies that the dish is in Canada they will block it...and them some "other guy" will, for a fee, get around the block.
