So is there any word from the holy leaders about covid-19 during conference? Do they have supporting and comforting words or advice even??

I was wondering the same, or if they have prayed for Trump!

Regarding the history of epidemics and pandemics, there is no indication that prayer has ever played a factor, n'cest pas?

The Black Death wiped out around 50% of Europe... Small pox and lesser European-originated diseases wiped out 75% to 90% of the native (Lamanite!) populations of the Americas...

I bet during those events there was a whole lot of praying going on, to which ghawd turned a deaf (deft?) ear!

In yesterday's conference I didn't hear any of them say "wear a mask!" Also no words of comfort to help members during the pandemic. They were too busy being political and reminding members to get their temple recommend.

They should Change the name of a TR to 'membership card'.


For as much as Mormon leaders micro-manage their members, I'm thinking that telling their donors (oops, 'members') to wear a mask, keep a distance would be consistent.

After you're told (women) how many earrings & what sizes are acceptable, men regarding facial hair, 'everyone' about their underwear ... What's not covered???

There was a gentleman from the presiding bishopric that told folks to continue emergency preparedness and to work on financial independance.

Financial independence is code for don't expect help from the church when your unemployment benefits run out next month.

Speakers removed their face coverings when they gave their sermons. The microphone and podium were not scrubbed down with disinfecting wipes between talks.
