Eight hours! Yikes! It just drones on and on. I'll suggest a compromise, go with one two hour session on Saturday and one on Sunday. Two hours allows time to include some nice musical numbers. Cut out the redundant subject matter and select for quality. There should be three, at the most four, quality talks, at each of the two sessions.

This was one stale conference. Partly no doubt because of the lack of an in person audience. Maybe because I've been a member for so long, but the church lacks freshness and vibrance. It's kind of stuck in a rut. As Ray Kroc the founder of McDonald's Hamburgers once stated, when you're green you're growing when you're ripe you rot.

One other thing, it takes a little more effort to pull off in this church, but I realized while watching conference I'm going to be a semi-active the rest of my life, like I have been for twenty years plus. No way I am ever paying tithing again, maybe I'll make some humanitarian donations here and there, I'll assist ward members where and when I can, no temple, etc.
